Mešalić's message to enemies and traitors: We will not stand idly by while you undermine our homeland

(Patria) - We won the independence of Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 1 by the will of its citizens with a ballot, we have always defended the state of BiH honorably, even armed against great-state aggressions.

Today we celebrate our renewal of statehood, freedom and dignity, wrote federal representative Mahir Mešalić (DF) in a post on social networks.

"We are doing everything to preserve the vision of a referendum-based Bosnia and Herzegovina, a state of all citizens and peoples, equal in their rights, a state where the rule of law will be an imperative and unquestionable goal.

Enemies and traitors, be aware and certain that the vast majority of citizens will not stand idly by while our state is being undermined. As long as we are alive, we are free, we will not agree to you partitioning the only state we have.

We have never attacked anyone, we have always defended our Bosnia and Herzegovina, and we will continue to do so. We must preserve peace at all costs, but we will defend our homeland by all means.

Let that be a message on this great holiday, March 1, to all great-state projects, that when you think we are cornered, then we, the citizens of this state who love this country, are strongest and most ready," Mešalić said.
