Mešalić: The Troika is a branch of HDZ and SNSD in Sarajevo, while they deliver, we remain without a state, but we will fight

(Patria) - Commenting on the fact that officials of the Troika had no particular reaction to yet another unconstitutional celebration of January 9, the head of the DF Club in the House of Representatives of the PFBiH, Mahir Mešalić, said that this is pure pandering to retrograde processes taking place in BiH.

"They are leading this country in a direction that is not good for the citizens of BiH. They are doing everything to pander to SNSD and HDZ. They are a branch of SNSD and HDZ in Sarajevo. We are witnessing that things are not developing in the interest of BiH."

He also revealed what he thinks about the presence of leaders of the Troika parties at last night's Christmas reception hosted by Željka Cvijanović.

"Nikšić was reckless, well, okay, he gave a flower to a lady, but he expressed eternal love for Cvijanović, probably in a political sense. She stated that January 9 is a symbol of freedom, and we know that it is a symbol of persecution and genocide. From Christmas to January 9, returnees were under constant pressure. The system did all of that. The regime did all of that," Mešalić points out.

He also touched on whether they could have declined the invitation, given that it was organized by those who also organized the celebration of the unconstitutional January 9.

"It is fine to say it is a Christmas reception. Why can't they express their protest against attacks on people who have done no harm to anyone? Evil was done to them. And today, why we endure this life sentence, nothing happens by chance. Instead of striving for progress, society, EU integration, we see retrograde forces that the Troika panders to. The Federation has fallen under the influence of Plenković, and the RS under the influence of Vučić. HDZ and SNSD rule," said Mešalić.

As for where the red lines are, which we expect coalition partners to set for Dodik, Mešalić says he previously had hope for that.

"I had hope that they had some red lines, but recently I have shattered those illusions. I saw that HDZ leads both Houses. Our party leads part of the delivery of its votes to HDZ. Mirjana Marinković Lepić gave authorization to Mladen Bošković. Her votes from Tuzla, which citizens gave her, she put them in a suitcase and delivered them through authorization to Bošković. Those people should have been on the HDZ list. They say one thing in the campaign, and do completely another now. Next is the appointment of Constitutional Court judge Marina Vukoje, then the Election Law, and with that, the rule of Dodik and Čović is rounded off, and we will be second-class citizens," emphasizes Mešalić.

He said he likes to name people who said one thing and now do another.

"Someone died for this state, things must not be delivered. What will we leave to our children, to try to bring us to the door of the EU, but one that strives for a civic system," said Mešalić.
