Mešalić responded to Konaković: I am honored to be part of the opposition, we are not afraid of traitors, your threats are in vain

(Patria) - Following the statement by the head of NIP, Elmedin Konaković, that they have found a solution to unblock the work of two commissions of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament and that they succumbed to the pressure of the "most destructive opposition" he has ever seen, came the response from Mahir Mešalić, head of the DF Club in that house.

"I am honored to be part of the 'most destructive opposition ever' and that Konaković, on Čović's orders, cannot get Vukoja appointed to the Constitutional Court of BiH. Unfortunately, Dino is so beside himself that he has started threatening the opposition like the authorities. Let's be clear, we are not afraid of traitors, your threats are in vain. You say 'we will regret it' as if we will regret something. We regret nothing, on the contrary, we are glad because we know what we are fighting for," Mešalić stated in his reaction.

At yesterday's session of the House of Representatives of the PFBiH, Mešalić warned the ruling coalition to withdraw four items from the agenda because the session of the Legislative-Legal Commission had not been held, and without its opinion, the material could not be considered.

The Trojka and HDZ want to amend the Rules of Procedure to fill the commissions with their members and thus secure a majority for decision-making. Now they do not have the necessary votes even for a quorum.

The Trojka parties held a meeting with Dragan Čović last night, and they opened all the issues that need to be resolved, from European laws to the Election Law and the appointment of a judge to the Constitutional Court of BiH.
