Mešalić on transporter procurement: Citizens of Tuzla Canton are much safer from today

(Patria) - Member of the Federal Parliament Mahir Mešalić (DF) attended today's presentation of new armored vehicles procured for the needs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP) of Tuzla Canton (TK) by the Government of TK.

The procurement of four "Senator" police transporters from the Canadian company "Roshel" is worth 4.4 million KM plus VAT.

In a brief conversation with the Patria News Agency, Mešalić did not hide his enthusiasm that the citizens of TK will be able to feel significantly more comfortable and safer from today, as they have a well-equipped police force.

We waited a long time, and today we finally saw it happen. We are equipping the police for the safety of citizens, who, I tell you again from firsthand experience, feel significantly safer from today - Mešalić, a native of Tuzla, told us.

He praised the current Government of TK, led by Prime Minister Irfan Halilagić (SDA), which managed to realize the procurement of armored transporters, a goal that the previous Government of TK had set in its work program.

- Our police will know how to respond to all threats and take adequate steps against anyone who might intend to disrupt their security.

Therefore, I warmly recommend to them, and they know who they are without me even mentioning their names - do not even think about causing chaos, it could severely backfire on you - Mešalić told us.

Finally, he called on the remaining cantons in FBiH to follow the example of TK and ensure that the level of security for their citizens is raised to a higher level through adequate investment in their police structures.
