(Patria) - Konaković's boss Dragan Čović announces from Zagreb that Wednesday, April 17 will be a non-working and holiday day due to voting in neighboring Croatia, warns DF representative Mahir Mešalić.
"Today, voting took place in the regions of Donbas, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Oblast (Ukraine) for the Russian presidential elections and also, they say it is a holy day for them.
Čović is therefore behaving like the head of autonomous regions in BiH because given the position he holds according to the law and the Constitution of BiH, he has no authority to declare a non-working day.
But he has certain cantonal governments that he controls 100% where, of course, no one has the right of veto or blockade (except Schmidt). There, in those cantons where it “gets stuck”, Čović has his Trojka members who are always at the disposal of Čović, Radman and Plenković", states Mešalić.
Čović also, from the HDZ Assembly in Zagreb, states that there is no state border between BiH and Croatia, only some “administrative” one, saying: “Dear Andrej, let me conclude, we are one family. No matter how difficult the administrative border between us is, we will endure”.
"The question arises, what will Čović endure?! Well, he must endure that the “administrative” border be moved and erased, that is as clear as day. We are waiting for Putin, Dodik, Vučić, Trump and new geopolitical circumstances, etc. I have nothing against people with dual citizenship voting in Croatia because if it does not bother the citizens of Croatia, it does not bother me either, but we have a problem if, due to elections in another country, Wednesday, April 17 is declared a “holy” and non-working day only in certain parts of BiH. All this brutally shows the truth we are running away from, that unfortunately, we do not have sovereignty over the entire territory of BiH.
But for the Trojka members, their “analysts” from Sarajevo, the problem is none of the above, but rather the advocacy for a civic state, the fight for equality of all citizens in every respect, the problem is also if you speak out against Čović and Dodik in their Sarajevo “mainstream” circles. Furthermore, they have a problem with Željko Komšić, they have a problem with DF, but the most devastating fact is that they have a big problem with the celebration of March 1 as Independence Day of BiH, the flag with lilies, etc.
I would not be surprised if the High Representative Christian Schmidt declares April 17 a non-working day in the entire Federation of BiH, since that is legally a “small cat” compared to suspending the Constitution of the Federation of BiH for one day. We have no right to give up, the political struggle continues….", notes Mešalić.
