Mešalić: Session of the PFBiH House of Representatives being relocated, the Troika has been ordered to ensure Vukoja passes

(Patria) - The location for the session of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina scheduled for November 28 is still unknown.

Recall, the continuation of the July session that was supposed to be held on November 22 was canceled due to a leak in the hall of the PFBiH House of Representatives.

Mahir Mešalić, head of the DF Club in the PFBiH House of Representatives, confirmed to Patria that an alternative location is being sought, about which they were informed by the Speaker of the House, Mirjana Marinković Lepić.

"They sent a letter to the PS BiH but are also collecting offers from other halls in the Sarajevo Canton area. We still do not know where the session will be held," said Mešalić.

He believes the session is being relocated also to reduce pressure, as the agenda includes amendments to the Rules of Procedure of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of FBiH, which is expected to spark heated debate. The amendments were proposed by the HDZ and the Troika, who thus want to enable the filling of the Commission for Elections and Appointments, in which the Troika and the HDZ no longer have a majority because two HDZ members have taken on other functions and their positions have never been filled.

"Bošković ordered them to hold the session on November 28. The Troika is preparing again to comply with the wishes of the HDZ, and they have been ordered to ensure Vukoja passes into the Constitutional Court of BiH for the interests of the HDZ and SNSD, which is a very dangerous development for BiH in the end," said Mešalić.

If the HDZ, the Troika, and the satellites that make up the majority in this house adopt the amendments to the Rules of Procedure, the path is opened to fill the Commission for Elections and Appointments, where the current coalition will have a majority, which is the path to appointing Marin Vukoja as a constitutional judge, because only that proposal would come before the representatives instead of the entire list of successful candidates.

However, Mešalić warns that such a development will certainly cause an appeal to the Constitutional Court of FBiH.

Today, the HDZ and representatives of the Troika will hold a meeting regarding this session.
