Mešalić: Treacherous act by the 'trojka', Čović is head of both executive and legislative power in the Federation

(Patria) - After the Commission for Elections and Appointments of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament voted that Marin Vukoja be the sole candidate for a judge of the Constitutional Court of BiH, on which the House of Representatives will vote on May 28, DF representative Mahir Mešalić, who attended today's session of the Commission, said that this is a treacherous act by the 'trojka'.

"I am particularly surprised by the stance of the SDP and Our Party, which has completely changed and went in favor of only Marin Vukoja as the top-ranked candidate. It is evident that Mr. Dragan Čović is the head of both the executive and legislative power in the Federation.

Today, Dodik and Čović achieved a great victory. They constantly attack the Constitutional Court of BiH and have gained a judge for the Constitutional Court in the form of Marin Vukoja, who was on the HDZ list for the House of Peoples. Or rather, they will gain him on May 28, because the mood of everyone in this majority, consisting of SDP, Our Party, NIP, and HDZ with some satellites like Isak and others, is that they will vote for Marin Vukoja. There is no doubt about that. Unfortunately, SDP and Our Party asked us in the previous term to proceed with the election from a list of candidates. However, they were not receptive, they changed their stance under the leadership of Dragan Čović, and the stance is as it is," said Mešalić.
