Merlin accepts Džeko's challenge, will pour cold water over himself

Captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team Edin Džeko, after accepting Asmir Begović's challenge and pouring ice water over himself, challenged his girlfriend Amra Silajdžić, Bosnian singer-songwriter Dino Merlin, and footballer Andriy Shevchenko to do the same. He gave them a 24-hour deadline, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

However, it seems we might soon see a continuation, as Merlin posted a link to this news on his official Facebook fan page and wrote:

- Coming up... – implying that he will respond to the challenge.

Numerous world stars have accepted this challenge, thus joining the humanitarian campaign to raise funds for the fight against amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
