"Merhamet" to send aid to all endangered families tomorrow

The President of HO „Merhamet“ MDD Hajrudin Šahić spoke today with the Mayor of Kakanj Municipality Nermin Mandra about the situation in that municipality after the catastrophe that struck the settlement of Bare last night, where a landslide damaged the houses of 18 families with 60 members, and in which one resident lost her life, reports the Patria News Agency. 

Šahić offered assistance to all endangered families who were evacuated from their destroyed homes and who are accommodated in private houses.

- As agreed with Mayor Mandra, „Merhamet“ aid to the endangered citizens will be delivered tomorrow. The aid will consist of food, clothing, footwear, dishes, hygiene products, bedding, blankets, and beds – stated Šahić after the conversation with the Mayor of Kakanj Municipality.

Mayor Mandra thanked „Merhamet“ for responding among the first after the accident that befell Kakanj and for, as he said, offering valuable assistance to the endangered citizens of that municipality, it was announced from "Merhamet".
