Merhamet celebrates 105th anniversary

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Muslim charitable society "Merhamet", founded on February 2, 1913, is celebrating its 105th anniversary.

On this occasion, HO "Merhamet" MDD will organize an academy sponsored by the Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić, who will also address the gathering.

During the academy, the "Merhamet" annual awards will be presented, and the laureates are Srđan Aleksić (posthumously), the Congress of Bosniak Intellectuals Council, and TV Hayat.

A charter will also be awarded at the event to the Turkish "Red Crescent" for long-term cooperation with "Merhamet", and guests from Germany, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, and Slovenia will attend.

The academy will be held at the Sarajevo City Hall, starting at 7:15 PM, as announced by "Merhamet".
