Srebrenica Memorial Center: Our duty is to speak about the dangers of new conflict and genocide

(Patria) - The Srebrenica Memorial Center has announced the organization of a Zoom conference "Bosnia in Spotlight: Preventing new conflict and new genocide" aimed at communicating to partner organizations, institutions, the academic community, and individuals in the country and the world the perspectives of the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the role of the Memorial Center in prevention and early warning, with a focus on the security and protection of human rights of the Bosniak returnee community in eastern Bosnia.
 
"The gathering will feature three panel discussions. The first will be addressed by Director Emir Suljagić and members of the Srebrenica Memorial Center team Hasan Hasanović and Amra Begić Fazlić. The second session will discuss the current situation with partner-researchers Ann Petrilla, David Pettigrew, and Peter Lipmann. In the third session, Almasa Salihović and Mirela Osmanović will present their perspectives on life in Srebrenica in light of the current situation," the Memorial Center stated.
