Memić and Dragičević arrive at OHR with lawyer

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Muriz Memić, father of the murdered youth Dženan Memić, Davor Dragičević, father of the murdered youth David Dragičević, and their lawyer Ifet Feraget arrived at the OHR building in Sarajevo today for a meeting.

It is still unknown whether the High Representative Christian Schmidt, who is in Banja Luka today, is attending the meeting.

We remind you that the deaths of the two young men have not been solved for years.

Dženan Memić suffered injuries on the night of February 8, 2016, in Velika aleja while in the company of Alisa Mutap, and he died on February 15, 2016. The court proceedings for the alleged traffic accident did not reveal what happened to Memić or how he sustained the fatal head injury. A court proceeding is underway at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina against five individuals, including Alisa Mutap Ramić, for organized crime and concealing the cause of Dženan Memić's death.

Regarding the murder case of David Dragičević, he first disappeared on March 18, 2018, and his body was found a few days later in the Crkvena river in Banja Luka. Although it was initially claimed that he drowned, his family claimed that he was kidnapped, tortured, and brutally murdered, for which they accused the top leadership of the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The case was taken over by the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which began questioning the young men's parents.

The former High Representative Valentin Inzko spoke about these two cases on several occasions in his reports to the UN Security Council. The European Union's justice expert Reinhard Priebe also warned in his report that these cases have not been resolved.
