Meliha Dugalija is the new Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office

(Patria) - The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council today appointed Meliha Dugalija as the Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office. She is currently the Deputy Chief Prosecutor of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office, Sabina Sarajlija.

Meliha Dugalija was born in 1979 in Sarajevo, where she graduated from the First Gymnasium.

She graduated from the Faculty of Law at the University of Sarajevo in 2003, and in 2004 began her professional career in the judiciary of Bosnia and Herzegovina as an intern at the Prosecutor's Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She passed the judicial exam in 2006. From 2006 to 2010, she worked as a professional associate in the Prosecutor's Office of BiH - War Crimes Department.

By the decision of the High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of BiH, in 2010, she was appointed as a prosecutor at the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton.
