Mektić on the meeting between Mehmedagić and Markić: No action of one service against the other

Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić stated that it was concluded at the meeting of the heads of OSA and SOA, Osman Mehmedagić and Daniel Markić, that there are no mutual misunderstandings regarding the work and actions of the services, and that there was no offensive, illegal, or disloyal action of one service against another service, or one country against another country.

- It was concluded that the cooperation between the two countries is very good, that it will continue to be so, and that this media-provoked affair, by certain media outlets, should be somewhat downplayed, given that we should work on improving relations between our two countries.

Mektić said that in the context of the security sector, perhaps too much importance is given to certain statements made by public officials, and that not every statement should always be taken maliciously, and that there is no evil intention behind it.

- In the future, we should build our relations as true neighbours based on mutual trust.
