Mektić: No initiative will silence me!

SARAJevo, (Patria) - Deputies of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina today removed the request for the dismissal of the Minister of Security of BiH, Dragan Mektić (SDS), from the agenda. Minister Mektić himself spoke about this initiative by SNSD and DNS.

- None of their pathetic and miserable initiatives can force me to think differently, let alone to remain silent. They think that by using fear and intimidation, provoking incidents, and pressuring citizens in RS, they can cause fear, terror, and threats to force and scare citizens into giving up on voting or voting for them - Mektić said.

He added that "this government has started killing its own citizens, using force to silence some journalists".

- The end will come, and after these elections, this nation will have to see clearly and get what it deserves, a better life, better dignity. Human dignity is being destroyed here. What is the problem? The problem is that people have seen through his cheap politics - Mektić said.

During the press conference, he had a verbal altercation with an RTRS journalist, stating that they were biased, and as journalists, they should not be like that.

We remind you that state deputies adopted the proposal of SDS parliamentary group deputy Aleksandra Pandurević with 19 votes in favor, 10 against, and three abstentions to remove this item from the agenda because the deputies did not receive the opinion of the Council of Ministers of BiH on the reconstruction of that executive body.

The initiative for the reconstruction of the Council of Ministers of BiH, one month before the parliamentary elections, was requested by deputies Staša Košarac, Lazar Prodanović, Dušanka Majkić, Nikola Špirić, Milica Marković, Miroslav Milovanović, Borislav Bojić, Đorđo Krčmar, and Jovan Vukovljak.

They accused him of ignoring and minimizing the situation where more than 10,000 illegal migrants have entered BiH since the beginning of the year, adding that he contributed to the unpreparedness of institutions to respond to this challenge with "false and incomplete information".
