Mektić: We must work in the interest of overcoming the crisis

Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić at today's press conference did not want to speak about the revision of the BiH verdict against Serbia, again emphasizing that „someone took that process out of the institutions of the BiH system and transferred it to some informal groups“, writes the Patria agency.

Given the reactions from the RS, where a meeting of all party leaders from the RS has been announced, where a stance will be taken regarding the further actions of officials from these parties in BiH institutions, Mektić did not want to directly answer the question of whether he is in favor of withdrawing officials from BiH institutions.

- Do not make me say what would be if it were. Today there is a meeting of the leaders of the Alliance for Changes and I believe they will make the wisest decision on how to proceed, how to get out of this crisis. I hope we will work in the interest of overcoming this crisis. Who said we are leaving, even Milorad Dodik changed his mind and said we are staying – said Mektić.

When asked whether the president of the SDS, Vukota Govedarica, would seek his resignation, Mektić denied this and said that he consults on everything with the party president.
