Mektić: BiH is ready to help France

I am aware of what the Vijestiummeta portal publishes and I will demand that something finally be done about this issue at all levels of government, said the Minister of Security of BiH Dragan Mektić, reports the Patria News Agency.

There are sources of terrorism itself, he said, which call on their followers in various ways, and that must be defeated and destroyed.

Mektić warned that it is realistic to expect attacks, like last night's massacre in Paris, in BiH as well.

After the meeting of the Strike Group for Combating Terrorism, it was stated that Interpol requested BiH to check on some individuals who are not citizens of BiH.

Director of the Directorate for Coordination of Police Bodies of BiH Mirsad Vilić said that the Directorate has taken certain measures and actions to protect diplomatic-consular representations (DCR), but that he does not know how long they will remain in effect because it depends on the development of the situation.

Chairman of the Council of Ministers of BiH Denis Zvizdić said that readiness has been expressed to meet and do everything that the French Embassy and the state will ask of BiH.
