Meho Kodro and Kemal Kozarić among participants of the Peace March

Among this year's participants of the Peace March are celebrated Bosnian footballer Meho Kodro and the Governor of the Central Bank of BiH Kemal Kozarić, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Kodro and Kozarić joined the Peace March in Žepa, from where the group set off towards Potočari.

More than 8,000 participants of the "Peace March" from all parts of the world set off on July 8 from Nezuk on a three-day hike to Potočari. Another group set off from Žepa, which also includes a large number of people, including children, and the two groups will meet before Potočari to enter the Memorial Center together.

The Peace March is organized every year to remind participants that genocide occurred in Srebrenica in 1995, but also to encourage people to think that such horrors should never happen again to anyone, writes NAP.
