Mehmedović calls for protests in front of the Russian Embassy

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Šemsudin Mehmedović, a representative of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) in the Parliament of Bosnia and Herzegovina, via his Facebook profile, commented on the current political situation in BiH, as well as the actions of the Russian Ambassador to BiH, Igor Kalabuhov.

Among other things, he calls for the ambassador to be declared persona non grata and calls for large protests in front of the Russian Embassy.

"I remind you that after withdrawing from Afghanistan, the Americans said: Why should Americans fight for Afghanistan if Afghans will not fight for Afghanistan.

This is a Russian intervention to overthrow the rule of law in BiH, the BiH Constitution, and to impose conditions and dictates through a coup d'état.

Kalabuhov did not give an interview to BHRT but revealed the scenario of events according to the scriptwriters from Moscow:

- exclusion of state institutions and an attempt to reduce everything to a conversation between entities. This is a scenario to completely exclude and eliminate state institutions (meaning the state of BiH), to negotiate a new future for BiH between the entities according to the concept of a "sovereign RS within BiH" or, according to that scenario, "sovereign entities within BiH",

- Čović will follow this scenario by stepping down from the Federation at one point and activating the Croatian Self-Government or a similar HNS body for negotiations,

- This brings us back to the Vance-Owen plan from 1993.

- According to the ICG report, possible conflicts in the Brčko, Mostar, and Sarajevo areas have been assessed – therefore, Čović and Dodik already have an alibi to escalate to the maximum and will use the ICG report to initiate conflicts in the indicated areas when they are not satisfied with how the negotiations are proceeding, or if the Bosniak side does not agree to their blackmail and conditions,

- Unrealistic demands will be made to the Bosniak side only to be rejected, in order to have justification for incidents resembling armed conflict and indications of war,

- One of the scenarios was already carried out as a drill with the RS gendarmerie entering the barracks in Rajlovac,

- Kalabuhov equates the "return of competencies" to a democratic process, although it is obvious that this is a coup d'état and that the Prosecutor's Office must act in that direction, or if not, then it admits that the state of BiH does not exist,

- Kalabuhov is violating Dayton by denying the High Representative, and it is time to make a decision to exclude Russia from the PIC because, as evidenced by the UN Security Council summit, it has become completely clear that Russia, with China, has taken unilateral steps to dismantle the Dayton Peace Agreement, which must be revised in accordance with such behavior,

- Russia began to deny and destroy Dayton when it rejected Valentin Inzko's decision on the law on genocide denial, and he then had the mandate of the UN Security Council

- Kalabuhov hinted that there is a diplomatic initiative similar to the Visegrad Group that will produce a version of the genocide denial law acceptable to those convicted of genocide, war crimes, and the common criminal enterprise. Croatia will strongly support such an initiative.

- All victims of genocide in BiH should address the UN Secretary-General and the European Jewish Community in writing, asking them to draw attention to the behavior of Russia and its ambassador in BiH regarding the denial of genocide and war crimes – the Facebook post reads.
