Mehmedović on a more functional BiH: Gather leaders and determine a minimum we won't go below

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – On Saturday, February 27, a press conference of the Civic Initiative „Functional BiH“ was supposed to be held at the Evropa Hotel, attended by people from political and social life of BiH. The media were later informed that the press conference was cancelled due to the health condition of the President of the Assembly of the Civic Initiative "Functional BiH" and several members of the Assembly Initiative.

The President of the Assembly is Jakob Finci, the coordinator is Sejfudin Tokić, and among the members of the Initiative are Šemsudin Mehmedović and Aljoša Čampara.

The Civic Initiative "Functional BiH" is a community of citizens advocating for a new Constitution of BiH and changes in the legislative and legal system of the country that will ensure a functional state and equal rights for citizens in every corner of our country, BiH.

We asked Šemsudin Mehmedović, a state representative and member of SDA, for more details about this new initiative.

„Our desire is to bring all political leaders who want a more functional BiH to the table. This is the political initiative that should stabilize the political being in BiH. We will form it as an association to gather various political profiles from different parties. The key is to bring leaders to the same table to determine the minimum we won't go below when it comes to a more functional BiH. The political being of BiH is completely scattered, we have lost strength“, said Mehmedović.

He denied the information that he is leaving the Party of Democratic Action.
