"Meet Up Sarajevo 2019": Legendary Luis Figo among participants and guests at gala reception in the City Hall

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Mayor Abdulah Skaka hosted a gala reception last night at the City Hall for participants and guests of the 1st International Meeting of Tour Operators "Meet Up Sarajevo 2019“, and among them was the legendary
footballer Luis Figo, who, at the invitation of Mayor Skaka, arrived at this unique event, the City Administration announced.

“He came to support us in promoting Sarajevo as a tourist destination. Thank him as a sincere friend, because this is extremely important for our project of promoting the capital on the world stage. Stars like Figo, who is the ambassador of the richest and most famous sports competition in the world, the UEFA Champions League, spread a good word about BiH and Sarajevo”, Skaka pointed out.

Starting today, the Sarajevo City Hall will be a place of presentations and networking of international and regional tour operators, travel agencies and hoteliers with BiH tourism workers to establish contacts, exchange experiences and pave the way for new business arrangements, all with the aim of making the city of Sarajevo an even more attractive tourist destination.
