Inter-party meeting: No new candidate for mayor, Ademović gets advisors

(Patria) - An inter-party meeting was held today at the City Council regarding the continuation of the constitutive session of the City Council, at which a mayor must be appointed.

As confirmed to us, not a single name was mentioned, nor was a proposal made for any potential future candidate. 
Patria's sources reveal that the plan was to divide membership in the City Council Commissions, which are additionally paid, but they failed to agree on that either, as the meeting participants are unsure about the majority. 

Incidentally, according to the Rules of Procedure, commissions cannot be appointed before the constitutive session is concluded. 

"The only thing they agreed on is to meet again at an inter-party meeting next week," says Patria's source.

When opening the meeting, Jasmin Ademović, the Chairman of the Council, welcomed his two new advisors, Anela Zločudović and Amir Vrca.

We remind you that Bogić Bogićević withdrew his candidacy for the mayor of Sarajevo, which he informed Nermin Nikšić, the president of the Social Democratic Party of BiH (SDP), about on the evening of March 24.

This party nominated Bogićević for the position of mayor, and he was supposed to be elected at the session of the City Council on Wednesday, March 24. However, this did not happen for several reasons.
