International Cliff Diving at Bentbaša on August 27

On Saturday, August 27, 2016, starting at 4 PM, the Bentbaša cliff diving competition will be held for the second time. The best divers in the region will once again test their skills in diving from a 16-meter high platform. At the invitation of organizer Dino Bajrić, an experienced diver and winner of this year's competition in Jajce, 25 divers from Slovenia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina will perform, reports Patria News Agency.

Last year, the City of Sarajevo presented itself as a new destination for this extreme sport, eliciting positive reactions from citizens and media across our country. Based on these reactions, the organizers intend for this competition to become a tradition in the capital of BiH, so that we can witness spectacular dives at Bentbaša in the coming years, thereby enriching Sarajevo's summer tourist season.

- Given that this is the second time the competition is being held, we believe it will attract even greater attention from Sarajevo citizens and guests staying in the city, as well as those from other BiH cities, and numerous media outlets this year - Bajrić said.

The general sponsors of the event are the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton and the Old Town Municipality of Sarajevo. The partners of the event are the City of Sarajevo, Sarajevska pivara, Sarajevski kiseljak, Proteini.Si, and the Nova Bentbaša restaurant.
