International Symposium “New Technologies in Sport 2015 – NTS 2015”

This year's jubilee Symposium New Technologies in Sport 2015, organized by the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education of the University of Sarajevo, the Olympic Committee of BiH, and co-organized and supported by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of BiH, will be held on October 10 at the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH building starting at 9 a.m., reports the Patria news agency.

The symposium will be officially opened by the Minister of Civil Affairs of BiH, Adil Osmanović.

For 10 years now, through the organization of the symposium New Technologies in Sport NTS, the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education has been introducing coaches, teachers, sports managers, scientists and other sports workers to new technologies in sport. In this way, it contributes to the development of sport in BiH, as well as the development of scientific research work based on the use of modern technologies.

Encouraged by the success of last year's symposium, the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education decided that the theme of the eighth International Symposium would be of a global nature, and attract interest groups or individuals from Bosnia and Herzegovina, the region, and Europe. Therefore, the theme of the eighth International Symposium New Technologies in Sport 2015 is Leadership and Entrepreneurship in Sport.

This year as well, the lecturers of the Symposium are eminent names of experts in the field of sports management from Europe, the region and Bosnia and Herzegovina, such as: Dr. Nihad Selimović, Assistant Professor Nikša Sviličić, PhD, Professor Mile Sadžak, PhD, Professor Edvin Dervišević, PhD, Professor Sebastian Kaiser, PhD, Professor John Beech, PhD, Dr. Stefan Walzel, Professor Thomas Bezold, PhD, Professor Irena Valantine, PhD, Professor Markus Breuer, PhD, and many others.
