Among the new orders of the Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters of USK is the formation of an isolation facility

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters met today in Bihać and issued seven orders, including a ban on movement in the USK area between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

Prime Minister of USK Mustafa Ružnić, who also serves as the commander of the USK Civil Protection, appeals to citizens to strictly adhere to the issued orders and respect all other preventive and hygiene measures, thus contributing to the fight against the spread of the new coronavirus by protecting their own health and the health of their loved ones.

Today, the USK CP Headquarters issued orders on:

- Prohibition of movement for citizens in the Una-Sana Canton area between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Citizens are ordered not to move in the Una-Sana Canton area between 6:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Exempt from this order are only employees involved in the implementation of measures and activities to resolve the state of emergency caused by the coronavirus (COVID 19) in the Una-Sana Canton, as well as employees of companies whose work process is organized in shifts during the duration of this ban.

- An order to repeal the Order of the Cantonal Civil Protection Headquarters of USK, number: 15-40-4-3326-2/20 dated 20.03.2020.

- An order to all city/municipal civil protection headquarters in the Una-Sana Canton to invite and make available representatives of local public institutions and enterprises, as well as representatives of religious, cultural, and sports life of municipalities and cities, and to establish clear procedures for action and coordination within their competencies with them in order to undertake preventive measures and mitigate the consequences caused by the coronavirus COVID-19 in their local communities. The appointed civil protection headquarters of local communities are obliged, with clearly established procedures for action issued by the city/municipal civil protection headquarters, to monitor persons who have been issued decisions on self-isolation or health supervision due to preventive protection from the coronavirus COVID-19, and in cooperation with the councils of local communities, to provide assistance in supplying food to elderly citizens and citizens who express a need, as well as other necessary actions aimed at preventing and suppressing consequences for the health of the population in the conditions of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic.

- An order to the management and leadership bodies of the Public Institution Health Insurance Fund of the Una-Sana Canton and the Public Institution Institute for Public Health of the Una-Sana Canton to, in accordance with legal regulations and the Decision on declaring a state of natural disaster in the Una-Sana Canton, find a legally appropriate way to make available accumulated funds and reserve funds at their institutions for the urgent procurement of necessary medical equipment and protective equipment, as well as funds for the treatment of patients with COVID-19 coronavirus.

- An order to the Public Institution Cantonal Hospital "Dr. Irfan Ljubijankić" Bihać to urgently establish an isolation facility where patients of category IV (critically ill with COVID-19 coronavirus) would be accommodated. Health institutions/health centers in the Una-Sana Canton are ordered to establish local isolation facilities (where severely ill patients with COVID-19 coronavirus of category III, as well as moderately ill patients with COVID-19 coronavirus of category II, would be accommodated, as assessed by an authorized physician) in the areas of cities and municipalities of the Una-Sana Canton.

- An order for all organizations wishing to get involved in providing assistance to old and infirm persons who are in self-isolation or health supervision due to preventive protection from the COVID-19 coronavirus, as well as other elderly populations, to report their activities to the competent Red Cross in municipalities and cities and the Red Cross of the Una-Sana Canton.

- An order to the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports and the Public Institution Pedagogical Institute of USK to urgently establish online teaching for all primary and secondary school students and to create a Manual for teachers and students for the use and operation of online platforms. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of USK is ordered to urgently reallocate financial resources of the Ministry for the procurement of technical equipment for monitoring online teaching for children whose parents are in a state of social need or social vulnerability, as well as for parents with three or more children attending primary and secondary schools.
