Among the white headstones of Potočari, 14 more victims will find their final rest

(Patria) - In the Memorial Complex Srebrenica in Potočari, 14 identified victims of the Srebrenica genocide will be buried today, for whom consent for burial was given even though they are incomplete skeletal remains.

The coffins of the victims were transported to Potočari on July 9, and after the participants of the Peace March, bicycle and motorcycle marathon arrived in Potočari on July 10, they were jointly brought out to Musala.
Among the 14 victims to be buried at this year's collective funeral are two brothers and a minor.

The youngest victim to be buried this year is 17-year-old Beriz (Omer) Mujić, born in 1978 in Zvornik.

And the oldest - Hamed (Ibrahim) Salić, born in 1927, who was 68 years old when he went missing in the summer of 1995 in the Žepa area.

Before the funeral prayer led by Reis-ul-Ulema Husein ef. Kavazović, a commemoration for the genocide victims will be held starting at 10:30 AM. After the commemoration, flowers will be laid at the memorial stone, and at 1:00 PM the religious part of the observance of the 29th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks of Srebrenica will begin.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the 21st collective funeral and burial of genocide victims.

- Nevres (Mehmed) Salihović, born in 1970;

- Ibrahim (Muharem) Salkić, born in 1935;

- Midhat (Adem) Bašić, born in 1973;

- Hajdin (Kadrija) Mustafić, born in 1959;

- Latif (Arif) Mandžić, born in 1964; and

- Hamed (Ibrahim) Salić, born in 1927.
