Mašić Doused with Cold Water, Nominated Emina Ganić

Damir Mašić, federal minister of education and science, joined the ice bucket challenge and doused himself with cold water yesterday, nominating TV host Feđa Fetahagić, businessman Saša Cvijetić and Emina Ganić, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As he posted on his Facebook profile, Mašić will donate the funds to the association Autism BiH, given that there is no ALS association in BiH. Incidentally, in this way the global public is involved in the campaign to raise awareness about the serious disease ALS – or Lou Gehrig's disease (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis).

A large number of public figures worldwide, as well as in BiH, have responded to the challenge, with among others dousing themselves with ice water: Edin Džeko, Asmir Begović, Dino Merlin, British Ambassador to BiH Edward Ferguson, and many others.
