(Patria) - Damir Mašić defeated Irfan Čengić in the race for the position of president of the SDP Sarajevo Cantonal Committee.
"Thank you to all delegates for their support for changes in SDP Sarajevo. However, the majority of delegates believe that SDP BiH Sarajevo is on the right track, which should be continued in the next four years. I congratulate Damir Mašić on his election as President of SDP BiH Sarajevo. I call on those members who have given me their trust to help him, and to strengthen SDP Sarajevo together," Čengić wrote on Facebook.
Čengić is a federal representative, as is Damir Mašić. Earlier, Čengić also lost the position of Secretary General of the SDP.
