Mašić appointed Political Director of SDP

The Presidency of the Social Democratic Party of Bosnia and Herzegovina appointed Damir Mašić as the Political Director of the Social Democratic Party of BiH at yesterday's session.

One of the main tasks of the Political Director within the SDP BiH is to coordinate the work of parliamentary clubs at all levels, with the aim of their more efficient action and implementation of SDP's initiatives and public policies, as well as synchronizing the actions of SDP's interest groups and all Presidency working groups.

In this way, the SDP BiH Presidency wants to strengthen intra-party communication and political action, as well as harmonize the work of the party's elected representatives, so that in the coming period, as the leader of the opposition, the SDP becomes a true alternative to the current government established primarily on the principles of ethnic division of BiH and all its resources.

Mašić is a long-time member of the Presidency and Main Board of SDP BiH. At the last general elections, he was elected to the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament. In his political career, he also held the position of Federal Minister of Education and Science, and was the youngest MP of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH.
