Mašić: Both Žuljević and I insist that the entire list of successful candidates for the Constitutional Court of BiH be presented to the deputies

(Patria) - Two sessions of the House of Representatives of the FBiH Parliament will be held next week. The first will be held on January 22, and the second two days later. The head of the SDP Club in the HoR PFBiH, Damir Mašić, said this morning on Jutro za sve on BHRT that on January 22, they should consider the information on the non-functioning of working bodies.

“Primarily the Commission for Elections and Appointments and the Legislative-Legal Commission, and I hope we will unblock the working bodies. On January 24, we will consider the decision on the temporary financing of the FBiH for the first quarter. I am convinced that the decision will be adopted,” said Mašić.
Mašić emphasized that eight parliamentarians have taken over their mandates in the past period and cannot exercise their rights and be appointed to working bodies.

Speaking about the election of Marin Vukoja as a constitutional judge, Mašić said that he and his colleague Aner Žuljević did not want to vote only for a list with one name.

“We insist that the entire list of successful candidates be sent to Parliament,” said Mašić.

When asked by host Zvonko Komšić if HDZ BiH agrees to this, Mašić says:

“Obviously they don’t agree, but we also don’t agree to one candidate. The position of my colleague Aner Žuljević and myself is that the list of successful candidates should be sent. There was no political willingness to proceed with the entire list. Filling the working bodies will not solve this issue because there is again no majority for one name,” said Mašić.

When asked further if he would vote for Vukoja, Mašić said he could not answer hypothetical questions.

“When the list comes to the agenda, the SDP Club will decide who to vote for,” he concluded.
