Mašić: We will never leave the children from Konjević Polje alone

Damir Mašić, Minister of Education of the FBiH, stayed with the children from Konjević Polje in Srebrenica, writes the Patria News Agency. Namely, the children completed their instructional classes and had a final event in Srebrenica, as well as a performance that, according to Mašić, many schools in urban centers would envy, reports the Patria News Agency.

- On that occasion, I also brought my son Denaj to meet the children from Konjević Polje. Although he is 6 years old, I tried to explain to him what happened there and what these dear children are going through. I am proud of all of them, especially their parents who fought for their children to have a better education, for a start – Mašić said on his Facebook profile.

He further stated that if the Ministry of Education and Culture of Republika Srpska continues to ignore court rulings and common sense, they will continue what they have been doing.

- And that is to pay for instructional classes and provide children with free textbooks. I don't know about others, but the Ministry of Education of the FBiH will not abandon them – Mašić added.
