Mašić congratulates the start of the new school year

Federal Minister of Education and Science Damir Mašić sent congratulations on the occasion of the new school year 2014/2015, to all students and parents, teachers, as well as all employees in education, wishing them the best success in learning and work, and plenty of beautiful moments of shared learning and socializing, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

- Dear students, we wish you a happy and successful new school year, much success in learning and behavior, and the best possible results in your work. Be diligent and dedicated, creative and decisive, brave and courageous for all new opportunities and possibilities in acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as positive human values, because school, at the same time, educates you and raises you as complete individuals - the congratulatory message states.

We extend special congratulations and a warm welcome to the youngest schoolchildren, our first-graders, for whom these are exceptionally happy and exciting days. May this excitement and joy accompany them throughout their entire future schooling, on the path of acquiring all new knowledge and skills, exploring and discovering new insights, and building and nurturing friendships. 

Unfortunately, a certain number of students from flooded areas, or from those parts where essential rehabilitation works are still being carried out, will not be sitting in school desks today. We believe that they too will very soon join their peers in regular and continuous attendance of classes, and it is our obligation as adults to continue to work diligently and intensively on ensuring better educational conditions and providing equal opportunities for every child to fully develop their capabilities, skills, and overall potential," the congratulatory message from Federal Minister Mašić states.

Otherwise, the start of regular classes has been postponed in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton by a decision of the relevant ministry and will begin on September 8 - it was announced from the Federal Ministry of Education and Science.

Mašić visited students from Konjević Polje today, for whom introductory classes are beginning at the Educational Center in Nova Kasaba.
