March of Peace 2015 proceeds without problems, fasters endure high temperatures

More than ten thousand participants of the "March of Peace 2015" set off this morning on a journey of more than 100 kilometers from Nezuk to Potočari in memory of the victims of the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica in 1995. Hamdija Fejzić, commander and leader of the "March of Peace 2015", says that everything has proceeded without problems so far.

- The only problem at this moment and during the afternoon hours is the heat and high temperatures, but that will not disturb us in the least from having everything go smoothly - Fejzić said.

Belma Bajić, a participant of the March of Peace, told Patria that there are a large number of fasters among the participants, but that there have been no problems so far.

- We reached Crni Vrh without a single incident. We still have about five hours of walking to Kamenica, where we will spend the night. The sun and heat are causing us minor problems as they slow down our walking, but the most important thing is that everyone's health holds up - Bajić said.
