Maradona: BiH is the dark horse in Brazil

The legendary Argentinian Diego Maradona visited the Austrian town of Windischgarsten last weekend where he opened a new sports center and hotel "Internacional" in this Alpine region, reports the Patria News Agency.

Nedim Abdukić, a Bosnian who has lived in Austria for over two decades, had the honor of meeting and spending time with the former brilliant footballer and former coach of Argentina. He conveyed Maradona's words about the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the Patria agency, and says that Maradona expressed great sympathy for our team.

- Oh, Bosnian! I think BiH is the dark horse at the upcoming World Cup in Brazil. You have a good team and excellent individuals. I think you will achieve great success, but since you are also playing against my Argentina, I am subjective, so I will not comment much - said Maradona to Abdukić.

Otherwise, the BiH national football team will play against Argentina on June 15, and many football experts predict that this match in the group will be the most difficult for coach Safet Sušić's team.

- It will surely be uncertain and interesting until the end. There are many good teams, and a football spectacle awaits us - added Maradona.

Abdukić states that Diego is extremely charismatic and approachable, and that countless fans of this football magician were waiting to take a picture with him.

- Windischgarsten is a small town, and many football fans from surrounding larger cities came to see Maradona live. Austria is also experiencing World Cup fever, and many BiH citizens in this country are eagerly awaiting BiH's performances in Brazil - says Abdukić.
