LESS LEADER - MORE MISTAKES Izetbegović should know - whoever admits must also answer!

Either I will take full responsibility for what I am doing or I will completely free myself from that responsibility. I would no longer be willing to do something halfway, summed up in 2009 the then vice-president, today's owner and president of the Party of Democratic Action Bakir Izetbegović, threatening to leave politics and the party if he was not elected party president. And he told one in a series of untruths. He did not become president then, but he remained at the top of the SDA even though he was defeated at the Congress.  

If there had been wisdom and intelligence in the ranks of the SDA in 2015, who knows what political constellations would have been within Bosnia and Herzegovina. But wisdom and intelligence began to flee the SDA long ago, ever since the time when every different opinion became like whispering against the rules of Kim Jong Un in North Korea. 

Years passed, Bakir became half a man, half a promise, and the SDA began to sink deeper and faster than all others. Those who knew how to open a parachute, those who think and understand, were the first to start leaving the SDA. And in waves, mostly post-election, all that intelligence and strength that could have made the SDA a quality centrist party left. A new party body was born, the only one that suits a leader called “half a man - half a promise”. Because only mental sycophants are capable of believing in promises like those Bakir Izetbegović has been making for more than half a decade. 

In the meantime, he gathered a small group of those political children under his wing, tied them into a clan system of political action and set off on new political wars. Fighting, Izetbegović made mistake after mistake. He did not admit them, at least not in 99 percent of his party presidency. 

And then the children grew up, the president's wing became insufficient and the SDA began to crumble again like a landslide in settlements they were overfilling while emptying the rest of the country. Or like youth fleeing the homeland without looking back, all while the SDA leader promises a million jobs. 

Like in the story of a father who worked for years and a prodigal son, Bakir Izetbegović from the leadership chair in the SDA managed to scatter a party that in his father's time had both an idea and a vision. Today it has only interest, the stamp of crime and the smell of betrayal. Because, without an idea and vision, every politics boils down to beating around the bush and self-interest. 

And the SDA has acted over the years to show exactly that. Not a single process they led with partners from the SNSD and HDZ was brought to implementation to the joy of citizens and for the functionality of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Izetbegović Jr., in the meantime, leafing through his presidential archive, probably realized how much chaos and trouble he had created for the state, the people and the party, so he played the card of “whoever admits, half is forgiven”.

He partially admitted a mistake in the steps during the preparation for the renewal of the revision of the BiH lawsuit against Serbia. Actually, he only admitted that he was surrounded by bad lawyers and advisors, that they persuaded him to not tell the truth to the public and other political leaders by remaining silent about the shortcomings. 

Izetbegović then also admitted the mistake that caused the Friday the 13th coalition to weaken, and yesterday he announced that he had misjudged Dodik and his secessionists when he said they would “fizzle out”. 

And nothing, mistakes have become accompanying documentation of the SDA leader's politics, but responsibility has remained unknown to him in the political equation after all these years. 

For the revision, he blames advisors, for coalition troubles bad phones, and for the complete failure in assessing Dodik's plans, he has not yet detected a culprit. 

And he doesn't have to! Every citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina clearly sees and will easily prove who has committed the most mistakes to the detriment of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its citizens and peoples. 

In the SDA, that will not happen, because there one does not contradict the president, for that one loses well-paid positions. 

But for the sake of the state and those who live in it in panic and poverty, someone would have to speak up and explain to the authoritarian leader of the largest Bosniak party that mistakes demand responsibility. Full responsibility, as he defined it back in 2009. 

Responsibility is when you admit and say “people, I can't anymore, I'm tired, I made a mistake...”. A man gets tired of political games, the point is just to realize when he is tired and then brake, hand over to those who will lead more wisely, if nothing else with fewer mistakes and failures. 

If he were a true leader and if he truly cared about the state, the people and the party, Izetbegović would have prepared the SDA for his departure and stepped down from its helm. But, as he has started admitting mistakes, it increasingly seems to me that at the end of his mandate Bakir Izetbegović will be the least leader, and the most mistake!

With a little more responsibility, he would have saved everything from leadership with a mistake, and the people, primarily the Bosniak people, from squandering into ghettoized political nobility. 

We hope he will understand that whoever admits must also answer. Criminals answer in court, bad leaders at the polls. And we will somehow survive until October next year!
