
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Federal Minister of Health, Vjekoslav Mandić, stated that BiH can withdraw up to 40 million KM from the Civil Protection funds of the Federation of BiH by decision of the FBiH Government to combat the coronavirus.
Mandić stated that an increase in coronavirus cases can be expected in the next two weeks. He added that the next two weeks are dangerous and that an increase in cases can be expected, as has happened in neighboring countries. Currently, 248 people are in isolation in the FBiH. It was also highlighted at the press conference that 80% of those infected worldwide have a milder clinical picture.
Adnan Jupić, Minister of Health of Zenica-Doboj Canton, stated that the infected woman in Zenica has milder symptoms, but that the authorities in Zenica-Doboj Canton were not caught unprepared. He also praised the Border Police because the patient followed their recommendations.
"She was accompanied by two fellow travelers who were also tested, and action will be taken based on the results," he said.
Mirza Palo from the World Health Organization Office in BiH stated that our country will soon receive the first contingent of aid in equipment for healthcare workers. Also, we should soon receive an additional 1,000 coronavirus tests from the World Health Organization.
