Mancini greatly respects BiH: We must keep our eyes wide open

(Patria) - The coach of the Italian national football team, Roberto Mancini, organized a press conference after a long time ahead of the Azzurri gathering for the Nations League matches.

Italy will host Bosnia and Herzegovina on Friday in the opening of the Nations League, and Mancini did not hide how much he respects the Dragons.

"I have called up 35 guys because at this moment we don't know what form we are in, but I want to look at several other footballers and evaluate a few of them before the commitments we will have in October and November," said Mancini and continued:

"We must start the competition in the best possible way. Our thoughts are focused only on the match with Bosnia and Herzegovina. It will be a difficult task, and after that, we will think about the match in Amsterdam," continued the Italian coach.

Mancini also recalled the match in Turin in which he led Italy to victory over BiH after a hard-fought comeback.

"BiH will not be an easy opponent, let's remember that they were leading against us when we met in Turin, which is why we will need concentration and wide-open eyes."
