Malaysian daily newspaper, "The Sun", is the new media partner of Football Club Sarajevo, it was announced by the club, reports BH News Agency Patria.
The publisher of "TheSun" is Sun Media Corporation Sdn Bhd, which is a member of Berjaya Media Berhard, one of the divisions of Berjaya Group, whose founder is the majority owner of management stakes in the assembly of Football Club Sarajevo, Tan Sri Vincent Tan.
The most read English-language daily newspaper in Malaysia, with a circulation of over 305,000 copies, will from now on enable all its readers to read more news from the Bordo club.
Since its inception on June 1, 1993, "TheSun" has won several significant awards and recognitions, such as the Agents Malaysia (4As) promotion award, Media Partner of the Year (2004/2005), Malaysian Media Award 2005.
In 2007, three journalists from "TheSun" newspaper received the Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA) award, headquartered in Hong Kong. The SOPA award in Asia is equivalent to the Pulitzer Prize in the United States.
In addition to the aforementioned, "TheSun" has won several other significant awards in free writing, journalism, investigative journalism, and many others, reports Patria.
