Little Halid was "mutilated" by a dog, his mother has no money for medicine or food

Trouble always had a "friend" and never came alone. Sabina Čović experienced this best through life. This young single mother lives with her son Halid and her elderly mother in a dilapidated house in the Ozimice settlement of Bihać.

Actually, Sabina, her mother, and little Halid are not living. They are surviving from day to day. Relatives help them as much as they can. They have no income, no health insurance, writes the Patria News Agency.

This morning at 4 AM at the bus station in Bihać, while returning from Sarajevo, Sabina was attacked by a dog while holding her sleepy son Halid. Literally, the dog snatched the boy from his mother's arms and started biting him. It dragged him and threw him around the street. The mother tried to save her son, but the angry dog also lunged at her.

Fortunately, some young men happened to pass by at that moment, who managed to chase the dog away, and Sabina and little Halid were taken to the Emergency Room.

The boy has 13 stitches on his cheek and several on his leg, and he is in great fear. He cries non-stop. Sabina has no money to take Halid to the doctor again, nor does she have money for medicine.

This is another sad story of our Bosnian everyday life. Trouble has always followed trouble.
