Drive with extreme caution: black ice and rockfalls on roads in BiH

There are no major traffic delays on roads in BiH. Driving conditions are mostly dry with occasional wet road surfaces. Due to low temperatures, patchy black ice is possible, especially on sections in higher mountainous areas, as well as on bridges and tunnel approaches, reports the Patria news agency.  

Low temperatures slow down the effect of spreading material, so we ask drivers to drive with maximum caution. We also advise increased caution due to frequent rockfalls or landslides onto the road. We remind you that possession of winter equipment is mandatory for all vehicle categories.

Due to terrain shifts, traffic has been suspended for freight vehicles over 3.5 tonnes maximum permissible mass and buses on the M-5 Sarajevo transit main road. Traffic for these vehicle categories is being rerouted through the city. There are no longer delays at border crossings, BIHAMK announced.
