Mothers of Srebrenica demand the dismissal of Jovan Ilić

The Association of Citizens "Women of Srebrenica" today held peaceful protests at Tuzla's Solni trg, as they do every 11th of the month, in memory of July 11, 1995, when the genocide in Srebrenica occurred, writes the Patria News Agency.

The Mothers of Srebrenica, for the umpteenth time, expressed their dissatisfaction and outrage due to the slow or almost non-existent process of exhuming the bodies of murdered Srebrenica victims, as well as due to the reduction of sentences for war criminals.

As highlighted on social media, "mothers come out in sun and rain, so that the genocide against their children is not forgotten." They demand that the competent institutions speed up the process of searching for the missing victims of the Srebrenica genocide, and that Jovan Ilić, head of the War Crimes Department in the Regional Office of SIPA in Tuzla, who is on the list of participants in the Srebrenica genocide compiled by the Government of Republika Srpska a few years ago, be dismissed.
