Mothers of Srebrenica tell Clinton: If you couldn't in 1995, help Bosnia and Herzegovina now

10:20 Mothers of Srebrenica and those gathered in front of the Battery Factory in Potočari welcomed Bill Clinton with applause. Munira Subašić presented a gift to Clinton, with a message to take it to his wife, the "future president of the USA." 

- We ask you to help Bosnia and Herzegovina, help for the sake of the children to come and for these white headstones. If you couldn't help in 1995, help now, said Hatidža Mehmedović. 

Hajra Ćatić told the former US president that she has been searching for the body of her son Nino for 20 years, who last contacted her from the besieged Srebrenica via ham radio on July 10, 1995. 

Clinton will address the gathering today in Potočari, which he also opened in 2003.

A delegation of the United States of America, led by Bill Clinton, the former US president, landed at Sarajevo Airport, and then headed by helicopter to Potočari, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Clinton was accompanied by several senators and other high officials, and at the airport in Sarajevo they were welcomed by Ambassador Maureen Cormack.
