Mothers visit execution sites: The pain grows stronger and deeper each year

As part of the Program commemorating the 20th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in the United Nations Safe Area of Srebrenica, a visit to the execution sites where Bosniaks were massacred was held today.

The Mothers of Srebrenica and other citizens will visit Potočari - the electric transmission building, then Konjević Polje, the Kravica Agricultural Cooperative, and the school in Orahovac. The dam, Branjevo, Pilica, and Kasaba will also be visited.

The request to visit the mass execution sites of Bosniaks was initiated by the associations: Mothers of Srebrenica, Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves, Women of Srebrenica, and Women of Podrinje. The mothers entered the Kravica premises in 2013, which led to an incident with the RS Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The mothers agree on one thing today: the pain does not pass and grows stronger with the years.
