Maglaj residents to reforest the Bosna riverbed on September 21st

The youth association "Dictum Factum" Maglaj, with the support of the SHL Foundation, is organizing a reforestation action of the Bosna riverbed on September 21, 2014, titled "Trees of Hope", writes the BH News Agency Patria.

Project coordinator Adi Softić said that each sapling will have its motivational message, and a special surprise is the person who will place them on the saplings. Linden saplings and equipment have been provided for all activists.

- I hope for a good turnout, that we finally do something useful, and not just watch who got how much and how. We ask all gymnasium students to use their free time productively before the start of classes and join the reforestation action of the Bosna riverbed – said Softić.

The action starts at 10:00 AM, and the gathering point is in front of the "Edhem Mulabdić" Culture Hall.

We remind you that heavy rains in May caused the Bosna river to overflow, which literally flooded Maglaj and caused enormous material damage. Every heavier rainfall raises the river level and threatens the surrounding population.
