Fog reduces visibility, frequent minor landslides of soil or rocks

(Patria) - Morning fog reduces visibility in valleys and along river courses, so we urge increased caution. We highlight the main roads Konjic-Jablanica-Prozor, Lašva-Travnik, Bihać-Ključ-Sanski Most and Kupres-Livno, as well as roads in the wider Sarajevo, Tuzla, Zenica and Doboj areas. The road surface is wet in places, and we also warn of frequent minor landslides of soil or rocks. We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution on all routes.

Due to works on laying the final asphalt layer, traffic is suspended on the main road Srbac-Derventa. Vehicles are being rerouted to the Srbac-Prnjavor-Derventa route. (Works started on 27.10.2025.)

Landslide remediation is underway in the place called Sijeračke stijene on the main road Dobro Polje-Miljevina, where traffic is suspended for up to 45 minutes between 08:00 and 17:00.

Due to demining works on the main road Ustiprača-Goražde (at the quarry site), traffic is suspended for half an hour every working day between 09:00 and 15:00.

Due to repair works on the regional road Stolac-Berkovići, traffic is suspended between 09:00 and 17:00.

Works are also ongoing on the A-1 highway section Podlugovi-Sarajevo sjever, as well as on the main roads: Žepče–Maglaj (Ozimica location), Konjic-Jablanica, Bileća-Trebinje (Žudojevići location), Zavidovići-Vozuća (Krivaja location), Klašnice-Banja Luka, Jablanica-Blidinje (Jablanica-Kosne Luke section), Jablanica-Prozor (Mirci settlement), Semizovac-Olovo, Gacko-Foča (Sastavci), Mostar-Čitluk (at the entrance to Čitluk), Jajce-Crna Rijeka, as well as at the entrance to Neum.

Due to maintenance works on the main road M-5, Vrtoče–Bosanski Petrovac (Medeno Polje area), traffic is slow, one lane. We ask drivers to adjust their speed and driving style to the road conditions in the mentioned section and to respect the temporary traffic signs.

Due to a landslide on the regional road Vrbaška-Mrakovica in the place called Vučjak, traffic is alternating, one lane.

At border crossings, waiting times for passenger vehicles are no longer than 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new entry and exit system for European Union countries (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.

Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible weight at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are rerouted to Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use Šepak border crossing. Trucks can use Šepak border crossing from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 22:00 to 06:00 (on weekends, they can cross between 22:00 and 06:00).

We remind drivers that from 01.11., winter equipment is mandatory on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
