Fog reduces visibility, caution advised due to landslides on roads

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Fog this morning reduces visibility on most roads passing through valleys and river courses. We highlight sections in the river valleys: Bosna, Sava, Lašva, and Vrbas.

The road surface is wet in places, and we draw attention to frequent landslides of soil or rocks. 

We appeal to drivers to drive with maximum caution and not to set off without winter equipment.

Due to works in the Crnaja tunnel on the Konjic-Jablanica road, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, during the day, while traffic is suspended at night (from 11:30 PM to 4:30 AM).

On the Jajce-Donji Vakuf main road, due to works in the Skela tunnel, traffic alternates, one lane at a time, during the day. At night (10 PM - 6 AM), traffic is suspended and diverted to the bypass around the tunnel (Metaling factory premises).

Traffic is slowed down due to works on the road sections: Olovo-Kladanj (Olovske Luke), Jablanica-Mostar (Komadinovo vrelo to Begića i Begovića bridge), Doboj-Gračanica (in Klokotnica), Grude-Ljubuški (at the exit from Grude), and Stolac-Hutovo (in Cerovica).

Due to an activated landslide, traffic on the Foča-Goražde main road section (in Filipovići) is slowed down, using only one lane.

There are no waiting times longer than 30 minutes at border crossings.

On the occasion of New Year's, until January 3, 2022, until midnight, the transport of explosives is prohibited on roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
