Fog reduces visibility on the road

Fog this morning is reducing visibility on the M-17 Sarajevo-Mostar road, so drivers are urged to be extra cautious, according to BiHAMK.

The road surface is wet in places, and traffic is of moderate intensity. On sections passing through cuttings, as well as over mountain passes, we warn of possible landslides of earth or stones. 

Works are underway in the Kalovita Brda tunnel on the M-5 Sarajevo-Pale highway, due to which traffic in the tunnel is completely suspended and is being diverted via a bypass in the immediate vicinity. 

Due to construction works on the access road to the M-17 highway near the place Donji Hadžići, traffic is alternating, one lane at a time, between 08:00 and 16:00.  

Traffic is also slower on other sections where renovation works are being carried out, and where temporary traffic signals have been installed, which must be obeyed. 

The following routes are highlighted: Stupari–Kladanj, Tuzla-Kalesija, Semizovac-Ilijaš, and Banja Luka-Turbe. 

At border crossings, current waiting times are no longer than 30 minutes. 

Works are underway in Croatia at the Stara Gradiška-Bosanska Gradiška border crossing, which may cause slower traffic during the day.
