Fog reduces visibility, ice possible over mountain passes

(Patria) - Fog in the morning hours reduces visibility on sections in valleys and along river courses, and the road surface is also wet on these sections. Due to low morning temperatures, ice can be expected on sections over mountain passes. We advise more cautious driving and avoiding risky overtaking.

Due to the replacement of expansion joints on the Reljevo viaduct, on the Sarajevo sjever-Butila section of the highway, vehicles are using only one lane in the direction of travel. On the Podlugovi-Visoko section, due to the installation of noise barriers, the overtaking lane is in use at the construction site, and the speed is limited to 60 km/h.

Due to the installation of traffic counters on the A1 highway section Butila-Sarajevo sjever, extraordinary traffic regulation is announced today from 9 AM. Traffic on the mentioned section will be difficult, using only one lane.

Due to the installation of lighting control devices on the A1 highway section Zenica sjever-Zenica jug, extraordinary traffic regulation is announced today from 10 AM.

Reconstruction works are also underway on the main roads: Doboj-Matuzići, Turbe-Nević Polje (Kalibunar), Simin Han-Donje Caparde, Stupari-Živinice, Sanski Most-Vrhpolje, Lepenica-Han Ploča, Prozor/Rama-Jablanica, Foča-Ustikolina, and Čitluk-Ljubuški.

Traffic is prohibited for vehicles over 5 tons of maximum permissible mass at the Karakaj border crossing (near Zvornik). Trucks over 5 tons are redirected to the Bratunac or Rača border crossings, while buses can use the Šepak border crossing.
