Magazinović: SDP's Main Board to decide on new coalitions in early February

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - There are many questions these days regarding the alleged coalition agreement between SDP and SDA. I am not aware of such an agreement, and a decision on it certainly does not exist, said the President of the SDP Main Board Saša Magazinović.

He emphasized that the Main Board makes decisions on coalitions.

"So far, the SDP Main Board, immediately before confirming governments, has given the green light for coalitions in Una-Sana Canton and Sarajevo Canton. The next session of the SDP Main Board will be scheduled in the coming days and held in early February.

When it comes to decisions regarding the formation of government, there is a possibility that the institute of Membership Referendum, which exists in the new SDP Statute, will be used," said Magazinović.

Magazinović added that unity within the SDP and the unity of the BH Bloc are very important to him, so he tries not to complicate the already complex situation with his statements.

"I believe we should be consistent and fulfill the promises we made to the voters during the campaign, based on which they gave us their trust," concluded Saša Magazinović.
