Magazinović and Matić among participants who left the hall during Grabar Kitarović's address

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Saša Magazinović, a member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, said he left the hall during a debate at the EXPO fair in Dubai while former Croatian President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović was addressing the attendees, due to her views on BiH.

Croatian MEP Predrag Fred Matić (SDP) did the same.

Magazinović stated that he has no problem with opposing views, but that he could not listen to Grabar-Kitarović speaking about tolerance and coexistence.

“I have no problem with opposing views. For years I have been learning to communicate politely and listen carefully. But to listen to Kolinda about ‘10,000 Islamic terrorists in BiH’. Kitarović speaking about tolerance and coexistence – I cannot,” Magazinović wrote on his Twitter profile, referring to Grabar Kitarović's earlier statements about BiH, especially during her presidential term.

“The decision to leave the hall is quite natural when the person speaking about peace invited to her inauguration all those who threatened that peace. My stomach is not made of stainless steel either,” Matić wrote on Twitter.

Magazinović wrote on Facebook that several other MEPs also left the hall.
